Why I built this
By day I'm a quantitative analyst, but nights and weekends I'm building Simpl Service. I spent too many hours sitting in tire shop lobbies and walking to the mechanic in the summer heat. Plenty of time to think about how there has to be a better way.
Everyone I talk to says the same thing: they hate being stuck while their car is being worked on. It's not the money. It's the time. Calling around for quotes, arranging a ride, sitting in a waiting room. Nobody wants to do it, so they put it off until the check engine light becomes impossible to ignore.
I built Simpl Service to solve that. You tell us what your car needs, we handle the rest. Find a shop, book the appointment, pick up your car, bring it back. You pick how much you want us to handle. That's it.
Why Fairfield County
I live in Stamford. This is my community. Fairfield County is full of busy professionals and families who value their time but still need their cars maintained. Starting here means I can personally make sure every service request is handled right. I know the shops, I know the roads, and I'm building something I'd want to use myself.
